Other Team News
The under 11’s had a good win over Patrician in the cup. Conor & Marc Burke scoring in the 2-0 win. Declan Trainor, Cormac McLaughlin, John Shields, Conor Waterson, James Milligan & Gina Dalton all played well.
The under 13’s recorded a 2-0 victory over local rivals Celtic Bhoys & followed this up with a solid 2-2 draw with Newcastle. Paul McMullan, Stephen McMahon, Patrick Mageean, Owen McEvoy & Cormac Byrne are all playing well.
The under 15’s continue to dominate the league. Convincing wins over Celtic Bhoys & Ballynahinch see them with a healthy lead. Cathail Arnold continues to impress in nets. Sean McMahon, Deaglan Arnold, Rory Mullen & Philip Trainor are also playing well for the team.
The under 17’s finished the month unbeaten with the highlight being the 2-1 win over league favourites Castlewellan. Chris Matthers, Conor Laird, Chris Laverty, Karl Johnston and John Cunningham are staring for the team.

Upcoming Events
The Ladies football team are on the lookout for a new manager. The league starts in April so this post needs to be filled urgently. If anyone is interested please contact the secretary Joe Mooney 07789267189. The team are also on the lookout for a new sponsor for their football strip.
The juvenile girls training will be resuming on the 31st January at 6pm in the Downpatrick Leisure Centre. All girls aged 13 and under are welcome.
The Club would like to thank all the kids and parents that took part in the bag packing in ASDA over Christmas. As well as the Club benefiting, CLIC Sergant & Tickled Pink, both renowned Cancer charities, also picked up much needed funds from this event.
